Mobile Sahab’s overview

It keeps the 293 g body and 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display, adds the A17 Pro chip, 128GB of storage, Wi-Fi 6E, Apple Pencil Pro support and Apple Intelligence. We carry the 128GB Wi-Fi version in Blue, Purple, Starlight and Space Gray.

Pocket size, current power

Apple released the iPad mini (A17 Pro) in 2024. It measures 195.4 x 134.8 x 6.3 mm and weighs 293 g, so it slips into a handbag or a coat pocket. The 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display shows 2266 x 1488 pixels at 326 ppi, fully laminated, with an antireflective coating, Wide color (P3), True Tone and 500 nits.

A17 Pro and Apple Intelligence

The A17 Pro chip has a 6-core CPU (2 performance and 4 efficiency cores), a 5-core GPU and a 16-core Neural Engine. Apple built this iPad mini for Apple Intelligence, the personal intelligence system that helps you write, express yourself and get things done, with much of it processed on the device. It runs iPadOS 27, and with the Phone app it can relay calls from a nearby iPhone.

Apple Pencil Pro

Apple Pencil Pro attaches to the side and adds hover, while Apple Pencil (USB-C) also works. Notes in class, sketches on the train and marking up PDFs all feel natural at this size.

Faster connections

Wi-Fi 6E (where supported) and Bluetooth 5.3 come built in, and the USB-C port runs at USB 3 speeds up to 10Gb/s, driving an external display at up to 4K and 60Hz. This is the Wi-Fi model: there is no SIM, so PTA registration does not apply. A phone hotspot keeps it online outdoors.

Storage, battery and box

Storage starts at 128GB and there is no card slot; our RAM and storage guide shows what that holds. Apple rates the 19.3 Wh battery for up to 10 hours of web on Wi-Fi or video. Apple's specification pages for the US and the UAE list the iPad, a USB-C Charge Cable (1 metre) and a 20W USB-C Power Adapter in the box. Boxes made for some other regions leave the adapter out, so check the box contents shown on your order. Pair it with the Apple 20W USB-C adapter if needed, and see all tablets we stock. Chhota hai, magar tez hai.

Mobile Sahab ka verdict

The iPad mini (A17 Pro) is for readers, students, commuters and mobile gamers who want Apple's most compact iPad with current power.
