We collect only what we need to sell and deliver your order, and we protect it carefully.

Who we are

MobileSahab (“we”, “us”) is an online store for mobile phones and accessories, based in Lahore, Pakistan. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use mobilesahab.pk or buy from us. Questions? Contact us at hi@mobilesahab.pk.

What we collect

  • Order details: your name, mobile number, email (if you give it), city, delivery address, order notes, and what you bought.
  • Payment details: the payment method you chose, payment references, and any receipt you send us to confirm a transfer.
  • CNIC: only when you choose an installment plan that requires it.
  • Messages: what you send us by email or WhatsApp.
  • Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used to keep the site secure and working.

How we use it

  • To process, source and deliver your order, and to keep you updated about it.
  • To confirm your payment, or to start your installment application with the BNPL partner.
  • To handle returns, refunds and warranty help.
  • To prevent fraud and keep our website secure.
  • To keep the records that tax and other laws require.

We don’t sell your personal information. We only send you marketing messages if you have asked to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.

Your CNIC

If an installment plan requires your CNIC, we treat it with extra care:

  • It is encrypted (AES-256) as soon as it reaches our systems, and stored only in encrypted form.
  • Only authorised staff who handle installment applications can view it.
  • It is shared only with the BNPL partner handling your application.
  • We delete it once it is no longer needed for your application, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
  • We never store it in public folders or send it over chat.

Card and wallet details

We never store card numbers, PINs, OTPs or wallet passwords. When you pay by card, JazzCash or Easypaisa, the payment is completed on the bank’s or wallet provider’s own secure service. We only receive confirmation that you have paid and a payment reference. We will never ask you for a PIN, OTP or full card number by phone, SMS or WhatsApp.

Who we share it with

  • Courier partners: your name, mobile number, city and address, so they can deliver your parcel.
  • BNPL partners: the details needed for your installment application, including your CNIC where required.
  • Banks and payment providers: what they need to process or confirm your payment or refund.
  • Service providers who host our website and email, under instructions to protect your data.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Cookies and device storage

  • Your cart, wishlist and compare list are saved in your browser’s storage on your own device. You can clear them by clearing your browser data.
  • After you place an order, a secure cookie lets this device open your order page for two days.

We don’t currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty, accounting and legal reasons, which for tax records can be several years. CNICs are deleted much sooner, as explained above. Messages are kept only as long as needed to help you.

Security

Our website uses HTTPS. Access to customer data is limited to authorised staff, our admin system is protected with two-factor authentication, and CNICs are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach ever affects your information, we will tell you promptly.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law. Contact us at hi@mobilesahab.pk and we will reply within a reasonable time.

Our store is for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to order for you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change, for example when online card payments go live. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
