Buying a phone on installments in Pakistan: how BNPL works

Buy now, pay later lets you split a phone’s price into monthly payments. Here is what to expect and what to check.

BNPL (buy now, pay later) splits your order into monthly installments through a financing partner. Many Pakistani BNPL plans and bank card installment programs offer 3 to 6 months, and some run promotions with 0% markup.

How it works at MobileSahab

  1. Add your phone to the cart and choose Installments at checkout.
  2. Pick a plan. You’ll see the monthly amount and the total before you confirm.
  3. The BNPL partner verifies your details. This usually includes your CNIC, because it is a credit check.
  4. Once approved, we confirm your order and dispatch it.

What to check before you choose a plan

  • Markup: is the total the same as the cash price (0%), or higher?
  • Down payment: some plans take the first installment upfront.
  • Late fees: know the penalty if a payment is late.
  • Tenure: a longer plan means a smaller monthly amount, but check the total.

Your data

Your CNIC is only requested when the BNPL partner needs it. We store it encrypted, use it only for your application, and never show it on order pages.

Tip: if you can pay the full amount, bank transfer and wallets get your order confirmed fastest.
